We strive to provide the most responsible, loving care possible and to precisely observe even the most complicated wishes of the owner. We collect mail and water plants and check on general home conditions. We call owners to reassure them that their pets are doing well.

Dog walking & Cat sitting

Going out of town? Feeling guilty your dog hasn't been getting out enough because of your hectic schedule? Wish you could take your dog to the park more often?

A Buddy For Hire offers Dog walking and Cat sitting visits. We will come to your home and care for your pet while you are away. We will follow your pet care routine per your instructions, including feeding, watering, exercising and administering any medication your pet might require. And most importantly, we will play with your pet!

A standard visit is a full 30-minutes in length (however longer times and overnights are certainly available too). Dogs generally require 2-3 visits per day. Cats and other animals usually require 1-2 visits per day. We also provide basic home care services while you're gone, such as bringing in newspapers, flyers and mail, watering plants and any other caretaking that may be necessary.

Half-hour tet-a-tet visit / walk: $20. An hour tet-a-tet visit / walk: $30.
(Additional charges may apply for more than one animal.)

Overnight Stays

Does your pet need added comfort while you're away? A Buddy For Hire offers Stays to give your pet all of the benefits of overnight visits, with added companionship and security for your pet throughout the night. A Buddy For Hire will provide care from the evening through the morning, and will add a visit during the daytime if requested.

Pet Boarding

We spend time with them throughout the day, playing with them, petting them, brushing them, and cheering them up in their owner's absence. A Buddy For Hire can provide all of your pet's needs, including food.

However, you may provide us with your pet's food as well as personal beds, blankets, & toys - anything from home that will contribute to their sense of security and comfort.

Holidays, Transportation and Map

Additional $10 per visit during the following holidays:

• Martin L. King's Day weekend
• President's Day weekend
• Easter weekend
• Memorial Day weekend
• Independence Day weekend
• Labor Day weekend
• Columbus Day weekend
• Thanksgiving week
• Christmas week through New Year's weekend

There is an additional fee for the administering of medication (including injection and subcutaneous fluids).
Pet transportation - according to the nature of the service.
