Who We Are
A Buddy for Hire grew out of a profound respect and love for animals, and was conceived as a memorial for a treasured lhasa apso, Buddy. During the past ten years, Gail Worthman and her assistants have cared for over 500 pets of all kinds as if they were their own. It is the most rewarding job. We serve most of Manhattan, occasionally following long-time clients when they move to Brooklyn or Queens. We strive to provide the most responsible, loving care possible and to precisely observe even the most complicated wishes of the owner. We’ll collect mail and water plants. We call owners to reassure them that their pets are doing well.
